Delivery & Courier Service Policy

How So Smooth Logistics handles service requests, pickups, deliveries and special handling.

Effective: October 7, 2026
This Policy supplements our Terms of Service. Individual quotes and written customer agreements may establish additional service requirements.

1. Service Area

So Smooth Logistics primarily serves Las Vegas, Henderson and surrounding areas. Service outside the normal operating area may be available by specific arrangement.

2. Available Service Categories

3. Requesting Service

Customers may request service through our website, telephone, email or another approved communication method.

A request is not confirmed until So Smooth Logistics accepts it.

4. Information Required

Customers should provide accurate:

5. Pickup Readiness

Items should be properly packaged, documented and ready for release when the courier arrives. Delays may result in waiting charges or schedule changes.

6. Packaging Standards

Unless packing services are expressly agreed upon, customers are responsible for secure and lawful packaging suitable for normal transportation conditions.

7. Labels and Documentation

The customer is responsible for required shipping papers, recipient information, labels, regulatory markings and supporting documentation unless So Smooth Logistics expressly agrees otherwise.

8. Inspection and Refusal

So Smooth Logistics may ask reasonable questions concerning shipment contents and may refuse or discontinue transportation where the shipment appears unsafe, unlawful, improperly packaged, materially misdescribed or outside the capabilities agreed for the service.

9. Hazardous or Regulated Materials

Hazardous materials, infectious substances, biological materials, dry ice and other regulated materials must be disclosed before dispatch.

Acceptance of ordinary courier work does not constitute acceptance of regulated materials.

10. Medical Deliveries

Medical-related assignments may be subject to additional handling, documentation, training, packaging, temperature, privacy or chain-of-custody requirements.

Acceptance is determined assignment by assignment based on the nature of the shipment and applicable requirements.

11. Temperature-Sensitive Items

Customers must disclose required temperature ranges and handling requirements before service is accepted.

Temperature monitoring, refrigerated transport, frozen transport or other specialized controls are provided only when expressly agreed.

12. Chain of Custody

When chain-of-custody service is required and accepted, documentation may record transfer points, dates/times, responsible persons and other relevant custody information.

13. Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the location is closed, access is denied, information is incorrect or another condition prevents completion, we may seek customer instructions.

Waiting, redelivery or return charges may apply.

14. Unattended Deliveries

Items will not be intentionally left unattended when a signature, chain-of-custody transfer, special handling protocol or customer instruction requires handoff to an authorized recipient.

15. Proof of Delivery

Available proof of delivery may include:

16. Estimated Times

Traffic, weather, construction, road closures, venue security, loading conditions and other operational circumstances can affect completion times. Unless specifically guaranteed in writing, estimated times are not guarantees.

17. Waiting and Detention

Excessive waiting at pickup or delivery locations may result in additional charges. Customers should ensure shipments and recipients are ready whenever practicable.

18. Changes After Dispatch

Changes to addresses, routing, service level, stops or handling requirements after dispatch may change pricing and completion estimates.

19. Cancellations

Cancellation fees may apply when resources have already been committed, a courier has been dispatched, travel has begun or costs have been incurred.

20. Returns

Undeliverable shipments may be returned to the sender or another authorized location. Return transportation may be separately chargeable.

21. Loss or Damage Reporting

Report suspected loss or damage as soon as reasonably possible. Preserve packaging and relevant evidence until the matter has been reviewed.

22. Recurring Routes

Recurring routes may be governed by a separate written schedule or service agreement establishing route frequency, pricing, holidays, cancellation, documentation and other operating requirements.

23. Service Suspension

We may decline or suspend service for safety concerns, unlawful requests, material nonpayment, abusive conduct, repeated inaccurate shipment information or other substantial violations of applicable terms.
